The FIFA World Cup 2022 is an International Association Football tournament which is contested by the men’s national team of FIFA’s member association. The event is happening in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. This Tournament takes place once in four years. It is the first world cup tournament that is being held in the Arab world. The FIFA world cup is played during November and December to avoid the excess summer heat. The positions are decided on the basis of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Points Table.
The first match will start on 21 November 2022 and the last match will be played on 18 December 2022. 32 teams will play in the FIFA World Cup 2022. 64 matches will be played. All the teams are divided into eight groups of four each. The total prize money is 440 million US Dollars. The winning team will get 42 million US Dollars which is more than the previous prize money. 1.5 million US Dollars will be given to each team participating in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

32 teams are participating in the Football Championship 2022. Teams are divided into eight groups out of which 8 teams will reach quarter finals. Semi finals will be played on 14 and 15 December 2022 and the Football World Cup 2022 Final Match will be played on 18 December 2022.
The FIFA Tournament 2022 will last for 29 days in which 48 league matches will be played. 16 teams will reach the knockout round played between 3 to 7 December 2022.
