The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the CHSL Notification on 6 December 2022. The online applications commenced from 6 December 2022 and are active till 4 January 2023. The candidates will appear for the SSC CHSL Exam in February/March 2023. But before appearing for the exam, aspirants have to prepare for the exam according to the SSC CHSL Syllabus 2023. - SSC Tier I Exam will be an objective type exam having 100 questions each.
- The SSC CHSL Tier I questions will form double marks for every right answer.
- There will be negative marking of ½ marks for every wrong attempt you do.
- The candidates should keep in mind about the negative marking in the examination for Tier 1.
- The time duration of the exam is 60 minutes and 80 minutes for the ones going for scribe.
- There is no provision for revaluation or rechecking in the exam

- SSC Tier II Exam will be an objective type exam for Module I.
- The questions will carry 1 mark each for every correct answer.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong attempt in section I and II.
- The candidates should keep in mind about the negative marking in the examination for Tier 2.
- Questions will be set in Hindi and English language both.
- The skill test will be qualifying in nature and is mandatory. No candidate will be exempted from appearing in the skill test as it is the mandatory test to be taken by all.
